I grew up on Betty K's. My Grandpa was a regular for many years (Jim Bilbrey). They need a better drive thru; pavement, menu. Other than that, I'll always love the food. There are some occasions where the food isn't 100%, but the majority of the time, it is. It's a mixture of southern, concession stand food, with a home cooked touch. Biscuits and gravy, grits, chili dogs, nachos, Frito pies, ice cream cones, etc. Things to keep in mind, they only accept cash, their cheeseburgers are tiny (but delicious), and they do not make french fries. Expect to buy a bag of chips to go with your burger (or nachos). The breakfast biscuits are delicious, but they tend to crumble apart very easily. It's a relaxed environment with a relatively welcoming, friendly staff. Blue collar, suit wearers, flip flops, doesn't matter, you're all welcomed here.

Be aware that they only take cash, so make sure you have cash handy before you get there. I wish they were open for dinner, but they aren't. I had a good old fashioned cheeseburger, and it was obviously a homemade burger, not a pre-frozen patty. Their chili has no beans in it, which many people like, but I prefer beans. I'm giving it five stars because the server was so sweet and made good suggestions, and I loved my cheeseburger.

Fast, friendly service. Somewhat limited menu, but the food is pretty good. My mother-in-law is a regular and swears by the cheeseburgers.
